Kia Ora Whanau and Friendly Viewers!
We wanted to share our artistic creations.
Have you ever really studied how the feathers look on a bird's wings? Well we have!
We have looked at lots of New Zealand birds as part of learning about what makes Aotearoa a special place.
After that, we had a chance to design our own birds! This could be anything we chose! Our imaginations went wild!
Silver Ferns Group are using the cover sheet to make sure that they don't smudge the chalk pastels as they create their fantasy birds. |
Group Ruapotaka Warriors are using the chalk pastels to make a bright and colourful outline of their birds. |
I like all of the birds.
ReplyDeleteWhat great pictures room 9, you really did look closely at the feathers on birds as it shows in your pictures. Keep up the good work
ReplyDeleteI think your artwork is wonderful. It is great to see the detail of the feathers on them. I love the contrasting colours and how they "pop" out of the picture. Tino Pai.
