Kia Ora Whanau and Friendly Viewers!
Have you ever heard of Toitoi?
It is a terrific publication of stories and illustrations by New Zealand school students!
This photo shows the front cover of the latest publication.
On Friday this week we had some enthusiastic visitors from
Price Waterhouse Coopers, (a local Auckland company),
who came to share this book and its stories and pictures with us.
They also delivered to us a box full of these very
interesting and entertaining books. THANK YOU PWC!
We loved reading them with you and to you!
We liked having discussions about the stories. |
We all got a chance to choose which story we would like to read. Nice leprechaun Mrs H! |
Great shady spot for your reading Group 5! |
Great reading Aleki! Nice cape Ms Riley! |
That must be a really cool story! |
We liked the poem and the amazing illustrations for this one! |
This group had a lot to say about this story! |
Awesome expression with your reading Solomon! You made the story sound even more interesting! |

ReplyDeleteI love toitoi because it had the very scary grizzly bear he had all got the sharp teeth and my favourite bit of it is when the help helicopter came and help the kids. How did you illstrait the book.
ReplyDeleteI heard from the Toitoi instructors how you all were well behaved and that they enjoyed working with you. The books they provide are wonderful and I know that everyone in Room 9 is a budding author. I'm looking forward to reading some of your writing one day.
