Kia Ora Whanau and Friendly Viewers!
Welcome to another week of learning
and laughter in Room 5!
We had special visitors at school this week,
I'm sure you guessed who it was!
Yes, Harold and Lynne, (his trusty assistant)!
We learned a lot about resolving conflict
and how our feelings are affected by how our
amygdala reacts to what we see and hear.
We learned some techniques for helping
us to deal with situations when there
might be a conflict with other students.
We listened carefully to Lynne to find out about our body's reactions when we have conflict. |
We were really interested to see what our heart does! |
This is our brain. Can you see the small brown part that is being shown? That is the amygdala. |
More parts of our bodies. |
And then we got to talk to Harold! |
It was narrow in the caravan but we all found a space to sit and have a sing-a-long with Harold! Thank you Harold, Lynne and Life Education! We learned a lot and we laughed a lot too! |
Glad you enjoyed your week with Lynne and Harold. It will be great to see your learning in action by the way you interact with others. Well done Room 5 and thanks for sharing.
